My new novel, CRUEL LESSONS, is an amateur sleuth mystery where readers try to unravel who’s behind the death of four 5th graders, who die experimenting with a new hallucinogen. It’s a whodunit and a thriller set in a small town school district. But more than that, the novel serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of youth drug abuse.
With this in mind, I was thrilled to be able to partner with NaturalHigh.org, a national drug prevention program for youth. As a retired educator, I’m thrilled with this partnership because Natural High is committed to providing high quality, evidence-based resources for teachers and parents working to keep kids off dangerous drugs. And they offer these resources at no cost.
I’ve so committed to this partnership I have agreed to donate a portion of the sale of each copy of CRUEL LESSONS. So you’re not only get a copy of the novel reviewers called “One of the best mysteries of 2023!” ReaderViews.com. You’ll also do your part to help parents and teachers keep drugs out of the hands of students.
